10 Jaw-Dropping National Parks To Add to Your Bucket List.
Autumn's awesome adventure. Fall in love.
Welcome, my friend,
Thanks for being here. Life is short so I’m encouraging you to live it up. When you become a member of this community you’ll get weekly ideas and tips for the outdoors, food, music, and mental health. Are you about that life?
The outdoors is amazing. Being in nature is one of the best dates you can have, it’s also good for your health. The National Park Service operates over 400 parks across America. Of that, 63 are known as national parks.
When is the best time to visit a park? The answer to this may vary, depending on the source. Many say Autumn/Fall, and I see why. The air is refreshing but not too cold, smaller visiting groups, and the scenery is amazing. Orange leaves and the sound of nature wrapping around your soul.
But the truth is, do what you can while you can. You can always visit again at the “ideal” time.
If you’re seeking a big adventure for your bucket list, here’s a list of 10 beautiful and highly-rated national parks that you may add:
Yellowstone is known as the first national park in America. It got its national tag in 1872 and spans across Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana.
This Colorado adventure spans over 400 square miles. Grab your gear and get ready to hike and see wildlife.
You’ll find this gem in the state of Utah. It’s packed with camping, climbing, and other activities for you to explore.
What can you do at this breathtaking Arizona national park? For starters, you can hike, raft, and ride mules.
How many miles can you walk in a day? This Montana beauty has around 700 miles for you to tread.
California is the home of Yosemite. Visitors can watch in awe as the curvy peaks merge with the sky. When you’re done gazing, feel free to hop on a raft.
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park
How about fishing and then camping out and then going on a trail the next day? Sounds like a Netflix show. That could be your experience at this Tennessee beauty.
When you think of Maine, fresh lobsters come to mind, but it's also home to the Acadia national park. While there, you’ll be able to camp, take in the rugged shoreline, and see some magnificent trees.
Be in the wild. Swim, raft, walk…do it all at the Grand Teton, located in Wyoming.
Located in Washington, this park spans almost a million acres. Hear over 300 species of birds sing, go fishing, or grab your stuff and take a dive into the wilderness.
There are many other beautiful parks around the country. You can visit any park near you and have a great time. The goal is to be out in nature more. For better health, stronger bonds, and to live a jaw-dropping life. Take care, and see you Thursday.
The pictures are wonderful and bring back great memories. I have been to all the parks but Acadia.
