The great outdoors, never ceases
To thrill our souls.
Gushing and splashing from the rocks,
The sound of water helps you relax.
Trees dancing in the breeze,
Left right, left right, then at ease.
The outdoors gives peace that money cannot buy,
It’s all you need to feel alive.
Next time you see the rain,
Let it hit your skin, it may ease the pain.
Look at the birds, look at the sky
Remember to live, we are only here for a while.
So don’t overlook it, embrace it
taste it, and feel it.
Grab your husband, grab your wife
Play some music,
Dance under the moonlight.
And when all the dancing is done,
Spread your arms, and welcome the sun.
Let’s have a drink to life
This time with water, not rum.
Nice reflection in prose. Reflections mirror our souls...! Keep it going!
Lovely poem to start the week with.
