Good morning friends,
Today I’m listening to Don’t Stop Believing, by Journey. Released in 1981, it’s one of the most viewed on YouTube, with around 500+million views. It’s the second classic to have over 1 billion streams on Spotify, according to Standard Magazine. Add that to streams on the other platforms, and we have one of the best songs ever recorded. Journey’s hit sparks something in us.
My love for the song grew after it pulled the curtains down in the final episode of Sopranos. Since then, I’ve listened to it to remind me of one of my favorite shows, but also as a motivator to get things done in this life. Sometimes we get different things from a song, and that’s often the intention of the musician. How do you feel when you listen to this song?
